Doggie Daycare Delight is owned and operated by Lisa Ziccardi. Lisa has been in the doggie business for over 30 years. Lisa has been grooming dogs for 25 years and was one of the first mobile dog groomers on the NorthShore. She has also been boarding dogs in her home for 10 years.

If you go visit other facilities, and then you visit Doggie Daycare Delight, you will SEE why this is the best place to leave your dog. We live here. We are not a facility. We are not limited in the amount of dogs we can take, but I refuse to overcrowd my home for money!! Most other facilities are over crowded! I want my place to be a safe, fun space for your dog!

The rubber flooring in my home is for the comfort of your dog. We also always have open crates filled with blankets, and couches for the more mellow dogs who just want to hang out. The other facilities are just rooms over crowded with barking, frustrated dogs. Forced to stand, lay on, or play on, hard surfaces!

Also, my yard is HUGE! So dogs can run! We have artificial turf out side, not PEBBLES or messy wood chips that can be swallowed!

More importantly, I’m here at night. The other facilities might have someone there, most don’t, but the dogs are isolated and alone in a glorified cage! For 8-11 hours!!!! We are also CAGE FREE! The dogs sleep free in the playrooms, unless you prefer a crate. Most of the small dogs sleep in bed with me.
